    AUTOMATIC GEAR CHANGER


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to change the gear in electronic manner. The main parts are Gear mechanism, Sensor , Gear slider, Linear actuator, fly wheel, microcontroller unit, gear motor etc. The gear slider is connected with the gear mechanism. The gears are fixed with the main and additional shafts. The gear motor is connected with the gear mechanism. The transmission of the gear mechanism is connected with the fly wheel. When the accelerator is pressed, the fly wheel starts running. The speed sensor connected with the fly wheel senses the speed and sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller analyses the signal and controls the linear actuator through driver and relay mechanism. Thus according to the speed, the gear is automatically shifted from one to other.
