    ATM for Blind People

    Abstract

This project is developed for the Blind peoples to use their ATM card in easy manner. It consists of a RF ID tags, RF ID sensor, Microcontroller unit, PC with microphone. The sensor is connected at the card holder. When the user inserts his card (RF ID tag) inside the card holder, the sensor sends signal to the microcontroller unit. The microcontroller immediately sends corresponding signal to the PC through serial port. As soon as the PC receives the signal, the voice recognition software in the PC prompts the user to say the password. The PC analyses the user’s voice and if he is not the authorized user, it produces warning message. If he mistakes three times, immediately the PC blocks the user. Thus the unauthorized user may be caught easily. This project is very much used in ATMs for inabilities. It is very accurate and cost Effective. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
