Embedded Based Automatic PIR Based Room Power Control System

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to detect, count the visitors and to control the room light automatically. One sensor is connected at front side of the door and the other is connected at the back side of the door. When any anyone enters, the sensor senses and sends signal to the microcontroller, in the meantime PIR senses whether it is human or not. The microcontroller analyses both sensor senses send signal to the drivers and relays and also to the counter. The counter calculates the number of visitors passed in the door. Through drivers and relays, the microcontroller switches on the room light. The LCD display displays the total number of visitors. When anyone comes out, the sensor sends signal to the microcontroller and it counts the visitors coming out. The microcontroller switches off the room light when the last person in the room comes out. Thus the room light will be on even if one person should be inside the room.
