    Helmet Based Vehicle Security System

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to start a vehicle if the person wears helmet. The main modules in this project are eye blink sensor, alcohol sensor, helmet wear sensor, RF transmitter and RF receiver, microcontroller unit. The owner of the bike should wear his helmet to start his vehicle. The helmet consists of microcontroller, alcohol sensor, eye blink sensor, and helmet wear sensor. As soon as owner wear the his helmet, it evaluates the blink rate and sends signal to the microcontroller. And also alcohol sensor information is sent to the microcontroller. If the person is wear helmet, the helmet wear sensor is sense and sends the signal to the micro controller. Microcontroller analyses these signals and generates the control signal. This control signal is transmitted to the receiver through RF transmitter. RF receiver receives the signal from RF transmitter and sends it to the decoder. Decoder signal is given to the microcontroller. Microcontroller generates the control signal and sends it to the motor through relay. If a person has drunk or his blink rate is high the motor will stop working. This is very much used in vehicles where security and authentication are required. The microcontroller programming is written in assembly language.
