    Power Generation Using Foot Steps

    Abstract

Day by day, the population of the country increased and the requirement of the power is also increased. At the same time the wastage of energy also increased in many ways. So reforming this energy back to usable form is the major solution. There is a necessity arises for a different power generation method. At the same time the energy is wasted due to human locomotion and many ways. To overcome this problem, the energy wastage can be converted to usable form. The main aim of this project is to develop much cleaner cost effective way of power generation method, which in turns helps to bring down the global warming as well as reduce the power shortages. This project is used to generate electric power from footsteps. The main parts in this project are suspensor, coil and permanent magnet and rechargeable battery. When the user walks, the suspensor connected with his shoe activates the coil and magnet setup. According to faradays law as long as there is a change in magnetic flux linked with the coil, an EMF is introduced. Thus electric power is produced according to the footsteps of the user. But the electric power is not constant because the force derived by each footstep is different. Thus the electric power is stored in a rechargeable battery. This electric power can be used to recharge cellphone and other electronic devices. Since this uses no fuel, this is very cheap and best.
