    BLDC Motor Driven Solar PV Array Fed Water Pumping System Employing Zeta Converter


    Abstract

    Automatic water pumping system is more useful in watering plants automatically without any human interference. People do not pour the water on to the plants in their gardens when they go to vacation or often forget to water plants. As a result, there is a chance to get the plants damaged. This project is an excellent solution for such kind of problems. Solar panel input is given to the MPPT controller. MPPT controller is used to regulate the output of the PV panel. Electrical energy from solar panel is stored in the battery through MPPT controller. This electrical energy is used to give power supply to the motor and microcontroller. Soil moisture sensor is also connected to the microcontroller. Microcontroller generates the control signal according to the moisture content. Generated control signal which decides the ON/OFF condition of the motor will be given to the water pump motor.
