    Embedded Parking Yard Monitoring and Control System


    Abstract

    This project is developed for automatic smart parking system for vehicles. The main part of the Unit is RF ID transducer, Microcontroller unit, and display unit. Each vehicle has a unique RF transmitter. The RF ID receiver is connected at the gate of the parking system. When the vehicle enters, the sensing unit automatically senses the vehicle and it automatically analyses the authorization of the particular vehicle. If it is authorized vehicle, the gate will be automatically opened. Also it analyses the free space for parking. The microcontroller allots the space for the particular vehicle. Also when one vehicle exits from the parking area, the sensor senses the vehicle and the microcontroller stores the particular vacancy. It will be allotted for the next vehicle. Each transaction is displayed in the LCD display so that the user can easily identify. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC 16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
