    GSM Based Wind Mill Controlling System


    Abstract

    This project is developed to monitor the operation of a wind mill using GSM. It consists of problem finding sensor, PLC, GSM kit and cell phone with the administrator. Problem finding sensor is used to identify the problem in the wind mill. Because of not enough wind in the particular area, the operations of the wind mill may be stopped. Immediately the sensor sends signal to the PLC and the PLC sends signal to the GSM kit. The GSM kit transmits the message to the particular mobile number. As soon as the administrator receives the message from the device, he can easily identify the problem. The administrator can send message to the GSM kit to solve the problem. The GSM kit receives the message and sends signal to the PLC. The PLC sends corresponding signal to the wind mill controlling unit and thus it operates the wind mill.
