    Low Power Wearable ECG Monitoring System for Multiple Patient Remote Monitoring System


    Abstract

    Tracking the health status of an outpatient is very difficult. This project proposes system architecture for smart healthcare based on an advanced wireless sensor network. This project is developed to sense the Heartbeat of different patients and to forecast it in online manner. The main part of the Unit is Microcontroller, Heart beat sensor, ZIGBEE and PC (Personal Computer). The heart beat sensor is connected with the patient’s body. The sensors send signal to the Microcontroller unit through buffer section. The microcontroller immediately sends corresponding signal to the ZIGBEE transmitter module. ZIGBEE module transmits the signal to the receiver. ZIGBEE receiver sends the signal to PC. Thus the Doctor/caretaker can view the status of the patient through PC. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
