    Wireless PC Communication System

    Abstract

To ensure proper facilities or process operation, it is important to monitor the operating performance of important components such as motors. Temperature and operating parameters monitoring is important in industry environments. The heat generated by motors can be detected before the devices get to be damaged. Sensors are widely used for measurement of temperature. This project consists of temperature sensor, voltage sensor, current sensor, Microcontroller, ZIGBEE, and PC. Temperature sensor, voltage sensor and current sensor are connected at the main parts of the motor. Temperature sensor is used to sense the temperature. Voltage and current sensors are used to sense voltage and current respectively. Sensed measurements are given to the microcontroller. According to that microcontroller generates the control signal and sends it to the ZIGBEE transmitter. ZIGBEE transmitter transmits the signal to the ZIGBEE receiver. ZIGBEE receiver sends the signal to PC through USART. Thus the temperature and operating parameters can be monitored in a wireless manner.
