    Advance Electronic Braking System


    Abstract

    Braking systems of commercial vehicles were always given the highest importance concerning safety issues and in particular active safety. EBS offers considerable advantages to improve the braking performance of commercial vehicle. The ever increasing technological demands of today call for very complex systems, which in turn require highly sophisticated controllers to ensure that high performance can be achieved and maintained under adverse conditions. Ever-increasing demands in term of responsiveness and control are being made on system for brake and chassis management in commercial vehicles. Electronic Braking System (EBS) introduced in commercial vehicles providing rapid brake response. In this project the speed of the vehicle is controlled while the vehicle crossing the turning. MEMS accelerometer output is given to the microcontroller. Microcontroller generates the control signal to control the motor.
