Microcontroller Based Boiler Automation Using Wireless Technology

    Abstract

As we know the boiler is very important part in industry and it require continuous inspection with specific time interval. Earlier days this inspection and monitoring is done with human workers. There are number of possibilities of errors with human workers while measuring particular values in boiler operation process. So a reliable monitoring system is required to avoid these errors and maximize profit. In this project, develop a microcontroller based boiler automation using wireless technology. Boiler automation includes the monitoring of temperature, pressure and overload using different sensors. In the boiler module, voltage and current sensors are used to monitoring the overload. Further, temperature and pressure sensors are used to sense the temperature and pressure in the boiler. These sensor details are given to the microcontroller and it sends zigbee transmitter. In the administration module, zigbee receiver receives the information from the Zigbee transmitter. Zigbee transmitter is send to the PC through USART. Thus the administrator can view the boiler details through PC.
