Online Monitoring And Controlling Of Boiler Temperature Using Embedded Systems

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to view and control the operation of a Boiler in online manner. It consists of temperature sensor, heating filament, Microcontroller unit, PC interface etc. The temperature sensor senses the temperature of the Boiler. The sensor sends signal to the microcontroller unit PIC 16F73. The microcontroller analyses the signal and sends corresponding signal to the PC through serial port IC MAX 232. The software in the PC is designed for sending the temperature value to the internet. The user can view the temperature value in the remote PC through Internet. If the value exceeds or below a particular limit, the user can control the boiler using remote PC through Internet. Thus if necessary, the boiler temperature can be adjusted through Internet. Thus the user can monitor and control the boiler in online manner. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
