Hand Movement Based Voice Announcement

Abstract

“Speech” and “hand/head movements”, are mostly used in communication between human beings. Communication between normal people and visually challenged people is quite difficult. In order to make this communication easy, hand movement based voice announcement system is introduced. In this project flex sensor is used to recognize the hand movements. Sensed information is given as input to the microcontroller. Microcontroller sends the signal to PC. According to that pc searches the word associated with the hand movement in the data base in which the words associated with the basic hand movements are stored in the database in pc. The output i.e. the word associated with the movement is announced through the speaker.
