Remote Water & Environment Quality Monitoring

    Abstract

Traditionally, data collected from water quality monitoring systems are typically stored in closed repositories that are not shared with the public. Due to the cost and environmental limitations traditional water quality monitoring systems cannot collect sufficient samples to reflect the overall status of water quality. In this paper, the monitored data were transmitted in real time by the central server via network. In such a ubiquitous environment every user can interact with the data. It mainly consists of water sensors like Hydrogen sensor, Oxygen sensor, dust particle sensor and environmental sensors like humidity sensor, heat sensor and velocity sensor. The water sensors are connected inside the water. The environmental sensors are connected in the particular area. These sensors are connected to the microcontroller via driver section. The data from the sensors are sent to the micro controller. The microcontroller sends corresponding data to the PC through serial port. The PC receives the data and sends to the server through Internet.
