    Robot Based Delivery System


    Abstract

    In the rapid development of technology, there are many types of robots with various specifications and capabilities. Simple delivery robot system was made to make daily activities easier because the robot can deliver things to another place as long as it is in the same floor and has line mapping. In this project the path to be followed by the robot is instructed from the PC. The path instruction will be transmitted through ZIGBEE transmitter. ZIGBEE receiver in the robot will receive the path information and follows it. Obstacle sensor is also connected to the microcontroller to avoid obstacles in the path. According to obstacle sensor signal and ZIGBEE receiver signal microcontroller generates the control signal and sends it to the robotic motor through driver relay section. Thus the robot will follow the instructions about the path which is sent from PC. And also RFID reader is placed along the path. In this project there are 4 RFID nodes. When the RFID sensor in the robot recognizes the code, it will send the message to the authority through GSM modem.
