Involuntary Station Name Display With Voice Attentive System For Train

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to control home appliances through voice commands and to display the commands said by the user. When the user commands, the microphone receives the sound and sends to the PC. The PC generates a corresponding digital signal and sends through the serial port. The microcontroller receives the signal through RS 232 and sends signal to the device driver section and also to LCD display through LCD driver. This signal is thus used to drive a corresponding relay in the external electronic circuit. The relay is used as a switch to switch on or switch off the particular device. By this way the user can control any of the home appliance. The LCD display displays the command said by the user. The design and port programs are written in Visual Basic. The Microcontroller program is written in assembly language. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73.
