Implementation Of Digital Thermometer Based Microcontroller

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to measure the temperature in digital manner. The temperature value will be displayed in a LCD display. It consists of a heat sensor, microcontroller unit and LCD display. The microcontroller has 28 pins in which we can use 22 pins as I/O operations. It consists of four ports called Port A, Port B, Port C and Port D. It has inbuilt ADC and it supports USART. The heat sensor (Thermistor) senses the temperature of the particular object. The signal is given to the microcontroller through ADC. The microcontroller analyses the signal and sends signal to the LCD display through LCD driver. This project is cheap and best. Since this uses microcontroller, the operations will be very accurate. This project uses assembly language as Microcontroller language. PIC16F73 is used as Microcontroller.
