Embedded Based Multi Channel Data Transceiver

    Abstract

Data transmission and reception in different frequency requires process like modulation, tuning etc. In this project, we use a different technique to transmit and receive data without doing any phase or frequency modulation. The main module in this project is Antenna (Core of sliding plates) which determines the frequency of transmitting and receiving data. The angle of the core plates can be adjusted using a motor. The direction of the antenna can be horizontally adjusted using a geared motor. The angular direction of the antenna is also adjusted using a geared motor. These motors are controlled by the microcontroller. The user can set the frequency through the key pad. The settings are displayed in the LCD display. Accordingly, the microcontroller sends signal to the direction control motors through driver unit. Accordingly, the direction control motors turn the antenna. The data to be transmitted is given to the antenna. This data is transmitted in the particular frequency. Similarly, the data can be received by setting the antenna in a particular direction. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC 16F877A. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
