GSM For Vehicle Theft Identification And Immobilization System

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to identify and stop his vehicle if someone misuses his car. It consists of a door sensing unit, Microcontroller unit, GSM kit and cellphone with the owner. The sensor is connected at the door. When the owner of the car locks the door, he has to switch on the security device. If some one opens the door, it sends signal to the controlling unit in the device. The controlling unit operates the GSM kit to send message to the owner. But if the owner tries to operate the car using his handset, the controlling unit does not send messages to the owner. As soon as the owner receives message from the device, he can easily identify that some one is misusing his car and he can stop the car with his hand set. The owner sends message using his cellphone and the receiver connected with the device receives the message and accordingly it sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller stops the operation of the car. Now the un authorized person cannot operate the car. This project is very much used in two wheelers, three wheelers and also two wheelers. It is very accurate and cost effective. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
