    GPRS Based Motor Monitoring And Controlling System


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to control the motor through mobile GPRS network, The Mobile can display the status of motor condition. This project mainly consists of a motor, microcontroller, relay, relay driver unit and PC. The motor and controlling circuits are connected to pc and also mobile to pc connect through internet. Motor controlling applications are developed by J2ME. When application start in the mobile, it connects the pc via internet. And User can enter the motor operation command in mobile, the command sends to the pc by mobile application. The pc can operate motor depends upon which commands enter in the mobile by user. The administrator uses a mobile phone with GPRS technology. The user can view the motor status in his mobile. This project is very useful in Industrial and House applications. Since microcontroller is used, the operations are very accurate. This project is very cheap and cost effective. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language. The microcontroller used is PIC16F73.
