    Solar Based Multiple Device Control

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to use a portable solar based multiple device control. It consists of three modules. They are Solar panel, inverting section and Step up. The solar panel converts solar power into electric power. The electric power is stored in a 12V battery. The inverting section consists of an oscillator and driver section. The oscillator generates pulsated DC with particular frequency. A power transistor drives a Step up transformer. The step up transformer steps up 12V AC into 230V AC. In the output socket, we can connect any home appliance, which uses 230V AC for its operation. There are two modes of operation called Normal and Auto. In the normal mode, the user has to on and off the device when necessary. In the auto mode, lights can be operated automatically according to the light in the room. This project is cost effective and portable.
