    Secure Online Banking Using Antiphising

    Abstract

The project “Secured Online Banking Using Antiphishing” provide the user friendly application for accessing account and performing various banking transaction through online. It focuses on functionalities like online money transactions, account summary, balance enquiry, fund transfer to other banks, ATM card cheque book request, statement view, etc. It provides more secure environment for accessing the account and money transfer by means of one time password. Online banking basically allows you to be able to do everything that is done in our regular banking institution, only with the benefit that we can do it all right from the convenience of our own home. The objective of the project is to design and develop Secured Online Banking Application Using Anti-Phishing concept. Some customers avoid online banking as they perceive it as being too vulnerable to fraud. The security measures employed by most banks are never 100% safe, but in practice the number of fraud victims due to online banking is very small. Bank transactions are generally traceable and criminal penalties for bank fraud are high. Online banking can be more insecure if users are careless, gullible or computer illiterate. A hacker creates a duplicate website which is a replica of the original genuine website. If the customer is not aware of this duplicate website they will give their details which can misused by the hackers. This project user the humming bird algorithm, to prevent the hackers from phishing for important details of the customers.

    Existing System

Before developing any system it is important to examine the problems in the existing system and the additional information that should be fulfilled in the proposed system. The existing system does not provide fast online transaction facility. It does not give the fast update account information to the customer. Hackers easily get information from customers and access their account. A Collision Attack Algorithm is attempted to find two input strings of a hash function that produce the same hash result. Because hash functions have infinite input length and a predefined output length, there is inevitably going to be the possibility of two different inputs that produce the same output hash.

    Proposed System

The proposed system should eliminate all the drawbacks of the existing system and should have the facilities as per the requirements of the users. The proposed system is designed so that the system to meet the requirements with the maximum flexibility. This system has the capacity to handle the projected increase in volume of information over time. Documentation and report generation is simplified, leading to considerable savings in time and effort. Data redundancy is prevented. • Transfers fund faster from one account to another • Updates the customer and transfer information immediately • Humming bird algorithm is used for preventing the phishing
