SMS Integrated Student Information Reporting System

Abstract

This project is aimed at how the institute can improve the efficiency of the services. Student Information Reporting System is one of the applications to improve the information of any particular student. This application involves almost all the features of the information system; the future implementation will be online help for the users to obtain information. Student Information Reporting System is the primary systems for operating colleges. Student Information Reporting System is a student-level data collection system that allows the Department to collect and analyze more accurate and comprehensive information. Student Information Reporting Systems provide capabilities for entering student records, tracking student attendance, and managing many other student-related data needs in a college. By using this project, we send each student’s mark and attendance details to their parent’s mobile through SMS with voice message. This project is secure so that unauthorized users cannot do any operations using their voice commands. Student Information Reporting System also supports: • Handling the Student details. • Maintaining the Student Marks Details. • Handling Student Attendance Records. • Maintaining records of absences and attendance. • Maintaining records of Internal marks.

Existing System

In the existing system, the process of manual attendance has been carried out across almost all educational institutions. The existing system of the project is used to seen only the current semester marks. In existing method the staff enters the internal mark in the record book anyone can changes marks. It performs a manual work and errors occur in the manual work. This process is not only time consuming but also sometimes inefficient resulting in the false marking of attendance. Because of this reason we will go for proposed system.

Proposed System

Student Information Reporting Management System can be used by education institutions to maintain the records of students easily. The proposed method easily views the attendance details and internal marks of the students. Achieving this objective is difficult using a manual system as the information is scattered, can be redundant and collecting relevant information may be very time consuming. All these problems are solved using the proposed method. The main objective of the proposed method is paperless work. It can be monitored and controlled remotely. It reduces the man power required. It provides accurate information always. All the student, faculty and management can get the required information without delay. This system is essential in the colleges and universities increasing the efficiency of college record management. Less or minimum time required to access and deliver student records.
