Online Directory

Abstract

In a fast development society computerization has come to stay as the most important branch of science and it is almost being all automation they are fast replacing the vast processing and assembling manual work in all fields in the information age which requires an educated workforce people today have realized that computer application after definite advantage Computers are making it possible to enhance the quality of the information which is highly valuable for today growth. Now a day’s computers are used in all works of life. The areas of computer web applications are literally too numerous to mention. This project entitled “Online Directory” The present directory is just in form of a book, where the user have to index the telephone numbers or the name manually to find it out. It wastes the precious time of the users. Online Directory gives this information in a single button click. Users have to just type the number or address, which will get them the required output.

Existing System

 The existing system is done manually with lot of works imposed on the people.  Suppose we need particular information, this is very difficult to take from the file.  They have to maintain all works properly.  The existing system is difficult to maintain.

Proposed System

 The proposed system is a computerized one.  The details about the online directory are kept in the server of the system.  All the manual works are computerized.  Online Directory gives this information in a single button click.  Users have to just type the number or address, which will get them the required output.
