    Car Speed Control using Bluetooth


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to control the speed of the vehicle near the schools and colleges, a Bluetooth transmitter is connected. A Bluetooth receiver sensor is connected in the vehicle. In the current scenario the world is plagued by accidents which are primarily due to human errors in judgment and hence thousands of lives are lost. These accidents can be avoided if only there was a mechanism to alert the driver of approaching danger. This can be done by monitoring the distance between nearby cars and alerting the driver whenever the distance becomes too short. This is precisely the aim of this project. In this project, I propose the use of Bluetooth Technology by which I can check the speed of the car whenever it comes dangerously close to any other vehicle up front, thereby saving many lives. The working mechanism is adapted by sensors. A Bluetooth device is attached to the car. Bluetooth device car and the neighboring car closely travelled at a distance of 10m. Then the sensor sense the distance of the 2 cars. After sensing the distance sensor gives the acknowledgement message to the Bluetooth device. The valves and pump that present in the car will automatically activate to the breaking mechanism by using tachometer completely slow down the speed of the car. Thus by reducing the speed the accident going to be happened is completely avoided. The possibility for new applications is very exciting with this versatile technology. It provides a simple, logical answer to all the problems-which is built a single common radio into every mobile computer, then neither do companies have to worry about WAN, nor do communication companies need to worry about building external cables. The Bluetooth communication device will thus be a small, low powered radio in a chip that will talk to other Bluetooth enabled products. Bluetooth has been designed to solve a number of connectivity problems experienced by the mobile workers and consumers. Thus, this technology helps make the electronic devices more user-friendly and helps to address various other problems like accidents.


    Existing System

    In existing system there is no automatic sensor machine to stop the car. Most of the accidents happened by the drivers due to fast driving. Because of traveling at high speeds there is a possibility of having accident. Controlling power only handled by the user so many possibilities of accidents done. Two cars or more come within the distance of 10 m at high speeds there is a possibility of having Accidents. That time user only control the car so it is difficult to handling the problem.


    Proposed System

    The project is used to avoid the accidents that probably caused by the driver because of the over speed. Here the speed is controlled by the speed sensor. These speed sensors are attached with the vehicle which is used to read the distance of the neighboring vehicle which closely arrived. At that time our car speed is considerable reduced by using the tachometer. Here tachometer is used to sensor the speed. Then user should be further proceeds to control the Brake automatically. Finally the car speed is considerably reduced using our proposed system.
