Abstract

Power-line communication (PLC) is a communication method that uses electrical wiring to simultaneously carry both data and electric power. It is also known as power-line carrier, power-line digital subscriber line (PDSL), mains communication, power-line telecommunications, or power-line networking (PLN). A wide range of power-line communication technologies are needed for different applications like home automation. Power line communication is an emerging network technology that allows consumers to use their already existing wiring system to control the devices. For communication purpose electrical power supply network is used in power line communication. Reduction in operational costs and expenditures for communication is the main thing in power line communication. This project is developed to control the devices using power line communication technology.
