Auto Intensity Controller Of Street Light With Fault Indication System

Abstract

This project is developed for the users to control the operation of a street light automatically. The light sensor senses the availability of light. When the intensity of the light decreases(night), the sensor sends signal to the driver transistor. The driver transistor switches on the inverting section. The inverting section consists of IC PIC16F73 and ULN2004. When the intensity of light increases(morning), the sensor sends no signal to the driver transistor and thus it switches off the inverting section. Thus the light will be automatically switched on when the intensity of sun light is low and the light will be automatically switched off when the intensity of sun light is high. Fault is indicated in the receiver section through LED indicator. This project is cost effective and portable.
