In bus stops, non-educated people feel very difficult to identify their particular bus. They need other’s help to identify the bus. This project is developed for the uneducated people easy to identify their bus through voice alert system using RF transducer. It consists of two modules called bus module and bus stop module. The bus module consists of switches and RF transmitter. The bus stop module consists of RF receiver, microcontroller unit, PC and speaker. RF transmitter module is in bus. RF receiver module will be in bus stop. When the buses enter into the RF coverage area, RF transmitter sends a data to RF receiver. RF receiver is receives the information from the RF transmitter. The received information will be sent to the microcontroller and the microcontroller sends the signal to the PC through serial port. In the PC, visual basic software plays the voice data through speaker. Thus the person hears the bus name through the speaker. Further this project is very useful in blind people.
