Tracking the health status of an outpatient is very difficult. This project proposes a system architecture for smart healthcare based on an advanced wireless sensor network. This project is developed for the users to sense the Temperature, Trip and Heartbeat of the patient and to forecast it in online manner. The main part of the Unit is Microcontroller, Heart beat sensor, Temperature sensor, Trip sensor and GSM module. The Temperature sensor, Trip sensor & the heart beat sensor are connected with the patient’s body. The sensors send signal to the Microcontroller unit through driver section. The micro controller immediately sends corresponding signal to the GSM module. The GSM module transmits the message to the Doctor through messages. Thus the Doctor can view the status of the patient through his mobile in online manner. He can also give prescription in online manner through GSM. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F877A. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
