Vehicle Starting using RFID

Abstract

This project is developed for the users to start a vehicle through RFID. The main modules in this project are RF Tag, Card Reader, Microcontroller unit and PC. The card is a specially designed card. The owner of the bike will have the Card. The card reader is connected with the vehicle. As soon as owner scratches a card near the sensor, it evaluates the card and sends signal to the microcontroller. It analyses the signal and if he is an authorized user, it operates the engine through driver section. Otherwise, the microcontroller operates the buzzer. This is very much used in vehicles where security and authentication are required. The microcontroller programming is written in assembly language. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73.
