This project is developed for the users to share the un used loads if the consuming load exceeds the particular value. It consists of temperature sensor, four separate loads, current and voltage sensors, Microcontroller unit, PC interface etc. The current and voltage sensor senses the current and voltage of the load. According to the load, the sensors send signal to the microcontroller unit. If the load exceeds the particular value, the microcontroller analyses the load and operates a relay to share the first unused load. Again if the load exceeds the particular level, the microcontroller operates the other relay to share the next load and so on. If the load is decreased, automatically the microcontroller switches off the particular relay to unshared the load. If the total usage exceeds the total load, the microcontroller will switch off the power to avoid unnecessary burning. The temperature sensor senses the temperature of the transformer coolant. If the temperature exceeds a particular value, the sensor sends signal to the microcontroller and the microcontroller switches on a cooling fan. If the temperature of the coolant reaches normal, the microcontroller switches off the fan. The LED indicators indicates the status of the temperature of the coolant, load and sharing. The microcontroller used in this project is PIC16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
