    Wireless Universal Motor Speed Control

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to control the operation of a DC motor using Microcontroller PIC16F73. In a DC motor, there are two terminals called positive and negative. If voltage is given to DC motor, the motor runs in a particular direction and if the polarities are reversed, the motor runs in opposite direction. This project uses a 4 channel RF transmitter in one side (Hand set) and a 4 channel RF receiver with microcontroller circuit in other side. The hand set consists of four buttons for forward, reverse, speed up and speed down. When the user presses a specific button in the hand set, the transmitter sends corresponding RF signal and the RF receiver receives the signal and sends to the microcontroller. The microcontroller controls the driver section for the corresponding operation of the motor and thus the motor runs accordingly. The user can control the speed as well as direction of the DC motor. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language
