    PC Based Unman Ground Vehicle


    Abstract

    This project is developed for the users to control a JCB through Computer. The user can control all the movements like forward, reverse, left and right etc. The user can also control the hand operations like hand up, down, lifting goods etc. When the user presses a specific button of the computer, a digital signal is generated and sent through the microcontroller through serial port. The microcontroller controls the operation of JCB through external electronic circuit like drivers and relays. The relay is used as a switch to operate the particular motor in the JCB. By this way the user can control any of the operations of the JCB. The design and port programs are written in Visual Basic. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language. The Computer controlled JCB can be used in mines and areas where human cannot enter.
