Application Of RFID In An Integrated Healthcare Environment

Abstract

This project is developed for retrieving the user details in Health Care using RF ID. The main modules in this project are RF Tag, Card Reader, and PC. The RF ID card is a specially designed card. Each user in the institution will have the Card. The card reader is connected with the PC through serial port. As soon as a user scratches a card near the sensor, it evaluates the card and sends signal to the computer through serial port. The computer analyses the code and maintains the user database. The computer also searches the user from the user list and displays the full details of the user. The user details can be edited and updated. This is very much used in Hospitals and Health care departments to identify the users in an easy manner. As a final point the result will appearances on the hospital server through the internet.
