Locating Friends And Family Using Mobile Phones With GPS

Abstract

This project is developed for the users to send their actual location to their family or friends automatically. It consists of two modules called Mobile and GPS module. The person who is in travel uses the GPS module. The GPS module consists of a GPS modem with GSM facility. The GPS module searches and identify the correct location and sends signal to the microcontroller. The microcontroller analyses the data and sends corresponding message to the GSM module. The GSM module sends the corresponding message to the particular mobile number. The person in the house uses the mobile phone. The mobile phone receives the message. The user can know about the location frequently. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73. The microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
