Multi Track Digital Audio Amplifier

Abstract

This project is developed for the users to assemble a multi-track digital audio amplifier. It consists of multi-track audio amplifier IC, microcontroller PIC 16F73, DAC, Speaker etc. Usually in audio amplifiers, the base, trouble in different tracks are adjusted by variable resistances. In this project the variable resistors are constructed in digital manner. The microcontroller produces digital signal and the DAC section produces corresponding analogue voltage. This analogue voltage is given to the particular track of the Audio IC. Thus the base/trouble of the particular track can be changed. By this way, we can operate multi tracks in a digital system. The output of the audio amplifier is given to corresponding speakers. The microcontroller used is PIC 16F73 and the microcontroller program is written in assembly language.
