Online Examination System (OLES) is a web application. The key concept is to minimize the amount of paper and convert all forms of documentation to digital form. It can observe that the information required can be obtained with ease and accuracy in the computerized system. The user with minimum knowledge about computer can be able operate the system easily. The system also produces brief result required by the management.
In existing system manual examination systems are the delays occurred in result processing, filing poses a problem, filtering of records is difficult. The entire procedure of allocating exam and assessing their score after the test was done physically till date. In existing method large number of Candidates attends the exams for that evaluation is required manual effort and in some cases student having the poor handwriting which is not clearly understandable by evaluator. The manual examination system is facing many problems such as not declaring examination results in time and accurately. The manual compilation of results processing it takes very long time to declare results.
The proposed online competitive exam System has provided means for faster and better exam management and student information system with efficient storage, retrieval and processing of data and exchange and utilization of information to its users. Online competitive system has the promising ability to provide better services to the examination administrations. If optimal potential of proposed system is utilized, it can definitely increase effectiveness and efficiency of the examination system. Automatic evaluation answer would be beneficial for the universities, schools and colleges for academic purpose by providing ease to faculties and the examination evaluation cell. The system provides automatic generation and validation of reports according the performance of the user. User can also see the marks after the examination result.
