College Staff Management System

Abstract

This project is intended for college Staff’s activities and their related information.” Staff Management System” deals with process of calculating and maintaining staffs attendances Question paper details and Staff’s Bio Data. The various basic information details are gathered and included in this project. This project helps the users in an easy manner without any unnecessary wastage of time. The project is also designed with full consideration to help the users accomplish their task more efficiently, accurately and interactively. In this Project each staff has their own login id. Using this id they can enter the personal details. Then they can upload or delete the information from the database. Each and every staff and student only view the details, but can’t change it. Each staff’s Bio Data were stored in the database. Also they upload their each series test question papers, important question answer and upload some important subject related notes. Important meeting Date and time, each announcement, Seminar & Symposium details is displayed in our project. Also Staff’s Stores their subject test mark in our database. This project is useful in colleges to manage staff details like total number of years’ experience, which subject he/she handles, education qualification and his/her performance. Details are updated to database by management team and these details are available for every Staff inside organization. Based on these details college can effectively maintain staff details.

Existing System

The staff management system at exhibited a lot of ineffectiveness and inefficiency that had far fetched impact on the decisions taken by management. The system, which was manual that is based on paper cards to collect staff information, had weakness that needed IT based solutions. The system was characterized by delays and sometimes failure to access historical records; errors were witnessed in entry and manual analysis of results, secrecy and confidentiality of records lacked because unauthorized persons could easily access the records. Indeed the application of IT-based solution in improving the system was envisaged. Therefore, the existing system was reviewed and an effective/robust system management information system designed to assist management in implementing its strategic plan in order to achieve the over all mission, goals and objectives.

Proposed System

Staff Management System is to reduce the manual operation required to maintain all the records of Employees. And also generates the various reports for analysis. The purpose of Staff Management is to perform monthly Attendance, leave sanctions of the employees and to perform search regarding various categories within less time. It reduces the human effort by making everything computerized. Here we published abstract and source code.
