Medical Emergency Caller App

Abstract

In case of any emergency patient may not be a state of speaking with anyone or searching through the contact list and calling the desired person, hence we are making an application to solve this problem. The Emergency Caller Android App is needed in case of a medical emergency. The admin add the list of hospitals in the app. The user can search for the hospital through this app by giving the disease. The user of the application needs to configure the application for the first time use where the user will fill in a short medical survey (that will help to generate a medical history of the patient). In case of emergency, this system will find out the nearest hospital based on the keyword e.g., fever given by the user of the user and the patient needs to add the medical details about the patient in the app. By using the searching button the user can find the correct hospital for curing the disease in an easier way. The user can also give feedback after taking treatment form a hospital in the app. The feedbacks are viewed by the admin. Medical emergency caller app serves as a best app for searching best hospitals and can fix appointment in a faster way by just giving the keyword.

Existing System

In the existing system, if any emergency situation occurs then the user needs to go the hospital in a manual way. If the user faces an emergency condition while travelling or when the user was in an unknown place, at this time the user will not have any knowledge about the nearby hospitals, so the user needs to search for the hospital. After finding the hospital the user will go to the hospital for treatment. Also if the situation is severe then user will faces a critical condition. Several applications are also available in the market; they do not provide all the facilities at a single place. In the existing system the user needs to give the location details in a manual way.

Proposed System

This project is about an android application, which helps people to find the nearest hospitals and available doctors to their present location. This application not only helps a patient by locating them to a nearest hospital but it also provide an Emergency Service. However, there are several applications available in the market; they do not provide all the facilities at a single place, whereas this application includes all the services required and it is free to access. When a user is in an emergency condition then the user needs to make an emergency call. At the time of calling the current location of the user is automatically tracked using the google map. Based on the tracked location the nearby hospitals are searched and the pre-recorded details about the users along with the tracked location will be send to the nearby hospitals. The pre-recorded details contains the details about the user which was recorded at the time of registration.
