Ration Card Fraud Detection

Abstract

Ration card is a very important Nationality as well as identity proof. Besides, it also provides the right to purchase goods from rationing shops. To get a new ration card, the applicant will have to collect the application form for ration card fill up the form properly. It consists of the details such as Name, Age, Address, No. of Persons, Nationality, etc. Specify the relationship as applicable. Specify properly the name of the state in which you wish to get new ration card. If the applicant wants to get a new ration card in a new area, but have an old one at his/her previous residential place, then the process will be that the applicant will have to submit surrender certificate of previous place. After the submission of the form the admin verify the form and issue the ration card. The admin can also provide the area code for particular card and the allotment things will be given depend upon the persons given in the card. With this area code only the customer can buy things from the particular ration shop not in the other area shops. Also the fraudulent activities will also be checked before issuing the ration card. (i.e.) whether the person already having the ration card or not and also check while issuing the materials whether the ration card is an original one.

Existing System

In the existing system, each task is carried out manually and processing is also a tedious job. In existing method all the customer details, stock details, purchase details are done in the record book it difficult to maintain the database lot of fraud happens in the ration card. Difficult to search particular customer details in existing method. There are number of difficulties and its taking too much of their time.

Proposed System

The proposed method the user can easily apply the new user registration ration card through this application. People do not wait for much time for this process. The admin can also provide the area code for particular card and the allotment things will be given depend upon the persons given in the card. With this area code only the customer can buy things from the particular ration shop not in the other area shops. Also the fraudulent activities will also be checked before issuing the ration card. (i.e.) whether the person already having the ration card or not and also check while issuing the materials whether the ration card is an original one.
