In India, farmers depend primarily for agriculture on underground water. There is a decrease in underground water levels due to the increasing number of bore wells being dug in the same region. Hence borewells get dried up frequently. In most of these cases the bore wells were left without closing. So children falling in bore wells is increasing because of the childrens carelessness and playful activities. The holes dug for the bore wells are approximately 800 feet deep. The surveillance system monitors the childs every movement through the camera, which is hung inside the well. The PC sends the command to the Arduino microcontroller, which sends the signal to the holding mechanism via the driver. The holding mechanism is used to carry the child with the help of the gripper. The holding mechanism shrinks as it goes into the hole, after which it expands as it goes under the baby. Thus the baby can be rescued without any harm to the babys body. In a bore well, there is only a small amount of oxygen. Therefore, the baby needs to be provided with the oxygen she or he needs to survive through the oxygen cylinder. Therefore, we use an oxygen supplier to deliver enough oxygen to the baby through the gear motor that receives the signal from the Arduino microcontroller.
The existing system was modelled with three sensors, WiFi camera and mobile. DHT sensor monitors both temperature and humidity level inside of the bore well. Ultrasonic Sensor is used to measure distance of the distance between ground and fallen child. Gas sensor is used to detect toxic or explosive gasses and measure gas concentration. All the sensor details are send to the NODE MCU. Then NODE MCU microcontroller sends sensor details to the think speak webserver. So that the person can view realtime sensor information through internet from anywhere in the world. The system also display the live image captured through WiFi camera in the mobile. ?
