Multimedia Website for Tourism in Kanyakumari

Abstract

Tourism segmentation research has focused on developing tourist segment profiles using primary and secondary tourist data and understanding segmentation based on future tourist behavior. The Multimedia website for tourism in kanyakumari project gives the full details of the kanyakumari tourism. This project can be divided into two parts: Travels & Transport. This project is helpful to tourist from different places. Travel & Transport shows the tourist places in kanyakumari, all hotels with cost details, and distances from the headquarters, route map to various places, nearest railway station details, nearest airport details, and fuel stations. Multimedia shows the various places, current updated photos, video of the places and available guides man’s in the particular places.

Existing System

In existing system user can only search the detail and booking ticket for tour only there is not available current update information and site map not provided in the existing system. Travels and tour guide details are not included in the existing method. The user just visits the website and just the information about the places there is no images related to places. The main drawback of the existing method is updating information not upload in websites.

Proposed System

In the proposed method is focus on to design and multimedia website for tourism .Here the website is design for tourism in kanyakumari. And the website contains travels and tour guide information also. In proposed method efficiently update the minute details of the kanyakumari tourism. In this project the website available find out the hotels and route information. Here hotels and restaurants give the details about its distance and the rent amount for one day or one week. If user books the specific hotels and there are two categories of the room’s one is an A/C and the Non-A/C rooms. It also displays the kanyakumari map when select the Site map. This is used to reduce the cost for a guide and it gives more details about the pleasant place. Here Uploading and downloading option. The guide is helps to the new visitor known about the new place. Admin upload the images and videos related tourist place location and the user can download and enjoy with snaps. Here the proposed methods overcome all the existing drawbacks .The proposed system is designed so that the tourists can gather information about a place without anyone’s help. It is useful to called information without spending more time or money.
