Student Time Table

Abstract

An application system named “Time Table Management System” is one which atomizes the task of subject allocation for the teaching staff of Computer Science Department of SRM University. Through this system, time table for individual staff and each class can be generated automatically after entering all the inputs which will avoid the tedious manual calculation. With this system, administrative staff can enter class information and the system can perform basic error checking e.g.: time conflict. In addition students and academic staff can look up their time table in real time. The project is developed using VB.NET and MS-Access for a standalone application. The basic inputs are obtained from the user and the inputs are processed and the time table is generated accordingly. As time tables are must for educational institutions, this project would be highly helpful to them.
