Application for Word Processing

Abstract

The project entitled “Win Application for Word Processing” is implemented to work like a text editor in Windows. By using this software, we can easily modify our text through various font, font size, font style etc. Like note pad in Windows, we can cut, copy and paste text in the editor. We can also edit the styles like Bold, Italic and Underline. The color of the selected text can be changed by using color box in the editor. In this java notepad, we can use some default borders. The color module will help to change the Background and Foreground of the notepad. The very interesting concept in this editor is auto help. If the user presses a letter, it automatically guides the user to type.

Existing System

In existing system the word processing application is Notepad, WordPad is provided as a simple writing tool for any Windows user. It helps users read and compile some documents, a simple function that a computer should provide. Simple editor has too much limitation. The text editor can perform simple text reading operation by changing the font size, font style. In existing method there is color and editing option are not applicable.

Proposed System

The “Supermarket Management System” is based on the sales transaction of items in a supermarket. The first activity is based on adding the items to the system along with the rate which are present in the supermarket and the name of the items which the supermarket will agree to sell. This authority is given only to admin. Any modifications to be done in the item name or the in the rate can be done only by admin. The Supermarket management system is based on the sales transaction of items in a supermarket. The project is supermarket is the place where customers come to purchase their daily using products and pay for that. So there is a need to calculate how many products are sold and to generate the bill for the customer. First is the data entry operator who will enter the products in database. Second one is the administrator who will decide the taxes and commissions on the products and can see the report of any product. Third one is the bill calculating operator who will calculate the bill and print. As the customer buys the products and comes to the billing counter, the user is supposed to enter the item name he purchased and the quantity of the item he wanted to purchase.
