In order to detect the violation we have designed a system. This system is employed in the toll booth, so that it will monitor the vehicles which are moving. If any vehicle violates the traffic rules by crossing the speed limit, by not obeying the traffic signals and rules it will take photograph of the vehicle and send the picture of the vehicle and its details like car number to the next booth in few seconds by advanced transmission techniques. The license plate number is identified by Automatic number plate recognition method. Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is a mass surveillance method that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates. The license plate number so obtained is compared with the information in the E-Government database to identify the violator’s details. Using these details the violator’s account number is identified from the bank database. Then the fine amount is automatically debited from the violator’s account and credited into the Government account and an acknowledgement is sent to the violator’s mobile.
In the growth of population in world, people use vehicles like sedan and lorry to meet their comfort and necessity. This lead to heavy traffic, pollution etc. at the same time there is increase in traffic violation. In order to detect the violation by the driver, we have designed a tool. This tool is employed in the toll booth, so that it will monitor the vehicles which are moving. If any vehicle violates the traffic rules by crossing the speed limit, by not obeying the traffic signals and rules it will take photograph of the vehicle and send the picture of the vehicle and its details like car number to the next booth in few seconds by advanced transmission techniques. License plate recognition systems become the key to many traffic related applications such as road traffic monitoring or parking lots access control. This paper presents the design of a robust and real-time traffic-violation detection system for cameras on intersections. We use background segmentation and a novel road-model to obtain the candidate traffic participants. A region based tracking system, equipped with static occlusion-reasoning, tracks the positions of the objects in the scene. An embedded analysis mechanism based on Fourier descriptor, motion vector, and homogeneity measurement is developed. Where the Fourier descriptor is utilized for vehicle tracing and the motion homogeneity is measured for determining whether the route and driving behavior of a vehicle is belonged to abnormal/violation/aggressive or not. The real time traffic information is not only displayed in the monitors of control 36 center, but also has been sent to the embedded module for further traffic congestion analysis, traffic event analysis, and violating driving behavior analysis simultaneously. The main goal of this paper is analyzing architecture of the traffic control systems using cloud computing. There will be shown the architecture for practical realization.

This system is meant for monitoring and reporting incidences of traffic violations at a traffic location is disclosed. The system comprises a digital camera system deployed at a traffic location. The camera system is remotely coupled to a data processing system. The data processing system comprises an image processor for compiling vehicle and scene images produced by the digital camera system, a verification process for verifying the validity of the vehicle images, an image processing system for identifying driver information from the vehicle images, and a notification process for transmitting potential violation information to one or more law enforcement agencies. The license plate number is identified by Automatic number plate recognition method. Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is a mass surveillance method that uses optical character recognition on images to read 38 vehicle registration plates.
