Boutique Management System

Abstract

Software applications are used in every part of our daily life but there are few areas like show rooms, cloth stores still there is need to use management software for handling billing details, customer’s information, and stock details. In order to full fill this gap we designed boutique management software application for cloth stores. The purpose of Boutique Management system is to implement the computerization of the clothes inventory and sales etc. BMS (Boutique Management System) that designed to manage your boutique is very user friendly software. With this software, you can generate report based on your preference (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly). This application will reduce manual work and maintain all details in database. Report generation for every month, week and year is possible with this software.

Existing System

The system which is followed at present is a manual system. Important drawback of existing system is time factor. It will not help the management to solve the problem in time. The existing system only provides text-based interface, which is not as user-friendly as Graphical user Interface. Since the system is implemented in Manual, so the response is very slow. The transactions are executed in off-line mode, hence on-line data capture and modification is not possible. Off-line reports cannot be generated due to batch mode execution.

Proposed System

The drawbacks which are faced during existing system can be eradicated by using the proposed system. The main objective of the existing system is to provide an electronic user-friendly interface. The system which is proposed now computerizes all the details that are maintained manually. Once the details are fed into the computer there is no need for various persons to deal with separate sections. Only a single person is enough to maintain all the reports.
