Student Size Square

Abstract

Student size square is a simple interface for maintenance of student information. It can be used by educational institutes or colleges to maintain the internal mark of students easily. The system utilizes user authentication, displaying only information necessary for an individual’s duties. Additionally, each sub-system has authentication allowing authorized users to create or update information in that subsystem. All data is thoroughly reviewed and validated on the server before actual record alteration occurs. The goal of this project is to create a system that will capture IA marks, calculate final marks .HOD and Principal also like to see these marks hence a multi user system that will allow each faculty to enter marks from her/his room and others to view should be of value to college. A faculty typically keeps records of marks of each internal exam in an Excel file so it will be easy to manage with help of system.

Existing System

In the various departments the admission details of student s are kept as manual records . So it is very difficult to maintain the data , a number of registers are needed there is a chance of loss of data . At the same time does not provide security of data . If we want to get the details of a particular student we have to search the entire record . Personal details as well as academic details are stored separately in different registers, so if a person wants to know the details , he has to refer a number of registers sometimes there is a chance of data inconsistency ,and data redundancy.Computerization reduces the communication gap because anything is programmed as per schedule and omission of information is not possible at all.

Proposed System

This system provide an interface through which faculty can assist internal marks of student. Provide registration for students done by themselves. Username and password facility and credentials should be checked properly at the time of login for student, faculty and Admin provide an interface from where faculty will be generated the report of student.
