Abstract

The proposed system model is implemented to design the application in mobile phones to find the best colleges in all over India. To find the colleges after the schooling is a tedious work for the students and parents. They want to seek the information about college fees, sports activities, grade details etc. This should be a complex work for the parents to find the best college. Nowadays net application is the most comfortable area to search any information regarding to the user. By embedding mobile application with PHP it will be efficient for the all end user. Here an android web application is implemented to fetch the best college in India. The colleges that include in the application are Engineering, Arts and science, Medical College, etc. Regarding to the student interest they can fetch the details of the college. The details that include about the colleges are fees system, background of the institution, Sport details, management details, department details, course details etc. Thus the application will help the student and parents to search the best colleges and also the students who are willing to continue their higher studies may also use this application to select the top best college.

Existing System

In existing method to find the colleges after the schooling is a tedious work for the students and parents. They want to seek the information about college fees, sports activities, grade details etc. This should be a complex work for the parents to find the best college there is no flexible application provided to find the colleges. In existing method there are two ways process one is manual process and the other one is the web based search. In manual process students need to visit each college and collect the information about the college, hostel facilities fees facilities etc. The manual process is the time consuming process and inefficient techniques. The second process is a web based search process. Here web based search will lead to wrong assumptions about the colleges it does not produce an accurate result is posted. In web based search the results may be falsified one. It only provides the details of the college and the contact address of the colleges. It does not mention about extra details such as fees details, course details, sport details and other information.

Proposed System

The proposed model is used to implement an efficient searching in android mobile phone. The searching is based on the best college in India. The entity used in this model is Admin and end user. The admin is responsible for updating college information in the data base. And the end users are the students or parents who wish to search the best college in India. Here the Admin want to store all the specific details about the college in India. The data should be stored on the basics of the college grade. The searching can be efficient by designing the framework with some of the related field such as college name, departments, sport activities, hostel facilities, fees details etc.
