Dc Motor Speed Scrutinizing and Controlling Using Thyristor

    Abstract

This project is developed for the users to control the speed of a fan according to the temperature in the room. The heart of the circuit is microcontroller PIC16F73. The microcontroller has three ports that can be used for Input and output. The signal from a temperature sensor is given as input to pin no. RB0 of the micro controller. The output is derived at RB6 and RB7 of the microcontroller. According to the temperature variation, the microcontroller sends signal to the output pins. The output of the microcontroller is given to driver section and the driver section operates corresponding relays. Regulator section is connected with the relay section. The fan is connected with the relay section. Thus according to the temperature variation, the speed of the fan will be adjusted automatically. Thus the room can be kept at constant temperature. Since microcontroller is used in this project, the operations are very accurate.
